A totally unique and very special place to stay
We stayed in the Hoosgow, which was Wasakie County's first jail, but had the choice of this, Cavanugh's Cabin, The Tack Shed or a fantastic sheep wagon. With no other guests at the time of our trip we were lucky enough to be able to look around the other spaces. Pam has recreated the most incredible cabins, rammed with authentic Western memorabilia and vintage fittings. The cooking facilities are basic, but adequate. This is a proper step up from camping and thankfully miles away from boring or badly served motels/lodgings. Pam went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We were rock climbing in Ten Sleep canyon and found this to be the perfect base. It's close to Ten Sleep Brewery and shops on the main street - what more could you ask for? Sitting drinking a beer on the front porch, while watching the most incredible sunsets was a highlight of our trip. If you were considering camping because the lodgings nearby aren't great, then think twice - go stay here and get a slice of authentic cowboy life.
